About Us
Kaukauna's PRIDE team is a club at Kaukauna High School in Kaukauna, WI. Our team has membership in the PRIDE Youth Programs International program.
PRIDE is a positive and lively educational program that equips young minds with the ability to make healthy choices. It teaches student members as well as other peers in the community the benefits of living drug and violence free. The PRIDE program also offers parents and the community at large hope and peace of mind. It is our vision to grow Kaukauna's PRIDE team even larger so that many more students can be involved and will take the pledge to live a healthy lifestyle.
Our PRIDE team is composed of three community outreach troupes (drama, dance, and music). Each troupe has two leaders and their own time to practice each week. Team members have the option of participating in whichever troupes they choose. Once a month (or more) we dedicate a practice to the other three pillars of PRIDE (drug education, community service, and drug-free activities).
